Report Yerun Webinar “Covid-19 impact and initiatives”

The Yerun Sport Days Webinar on November 10 was attended by 19 representatives from 10 Yerun member universities and the PCU Committee.

The impact of Covid-19 on university sport (offer for students, staff, infrastructure, financial, etc.) was discussed. Participants specified how they prepare for the 2020-21 academic year, what issues arose due the lockdown, and what corona measures were taken for sport activities.

University sport professionals shared their experience in organizing sport activities in the face of an ongoing pandemic, online alternatives for student sport classes, challenges of distant work, perspectives of participation in student competitions and their vision of the future situation in university sport.

The importance of supporting university sport and staying active has been highlighted during the Webinar. The PCU Committee thanks all participants for their constructive contribution
