Panathlon International Strengthens Alliances at Paris 2024
On August 2, during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, a significant collaborative event was held, bringing together four IOC-recognized organizations: Panathlon International, the International Pierre de Coubertin Committee (CIPC), the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP), and the International Society of Olympic Historians (ISOH). This event served as a key moment to strengthen the Olympic community by addressing various aspects of the Games and fostering collaboration among stakeholders.
Representing Panathlon International, President Giorgio Chinellato, along with Past-President Pierre Zappelli and other executives, actively participated in the discussions, exploring avenues for stronger, unified efforts in the future.
Following the event, President Chinellato visited “Casa Italia,” where he observed the successful implementation of a joint project with District Italy and the Colors for Peace Association. Giorgio Costa, President of District Italy, also attended, engaging with CONI officials to further Panathlon’s presence at the Olympics.
