The 6th “PCU International University Tennis Tournament” (PIUTT) is a free yearly tennis event for universities and university colleges worldwide, with emphasis on Fair Play and Universal Friendship. The 6th edition of PIUTT welcomes 24 players (16 men and 8 women) and registration is simple as explained below. The registrations will open on 1 June 2021.
Note – PIUTT 2021 is expected to take place on location, taking into account applicable anti-COVID-19 measures.

COMPETITIONS
The allotment of players to their place in the match schedule is determined during the Opening Ceremony by Prof. Dr. Francis baron Van Loon, President of the PIUTT Organising Committee.

16 players, modified knockout system
Each participant plays 4 matches (2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday).
WOMEN’S SINGLES
8 players, round robin system + knockout system
Each participant plays 4 matches (2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday).

FREE TOURNAMENT PACKAGE
FREE TOURNAMENT PACKAGE
Each team disposes of maximum 3 Free Tournament Packages (2 players and a head of delegation if present). Extra persons are welcome as explained below.
Per team
- 3 accreditations to enter and use all competition facilities;
- 3 accreditations for the Opening Ceremony;
- 3 entry cards for the Opening Party, including light buffer;
- 3 lunches per team member (Friday-Saturday-Sunday);
- 2 free dinners per team member (Saturday-Sunday);
- 3 public transport passes (*);
- 3 welcome bags with tourist information;
- 3 entry cards for the prestigious Kremlin Cup Tennis on Thursday (to be confirmed);
- Accommodation for each team member for 4 nights, including breakfast (Free Accommodation Details);
- 1 Team guide per team. (**)
(*) Public Transport Passes
Each Free Tournament Package contains a public transport pass for 3 days to use Moscow Public Transport. Your team guide will explain in detail the use of the pass upon your arrival.
(**) Team Guides
Your Team Guide will welcome you at the university dormitory upon your arrival. Your Team Guide will guide your team to the competitions and back to your accommodation and to/from other official events. Your Team Guide will also be a source of information about your stay in Moscow.
EXTRA PERSONS
If a team consists of more than 3 persons, official free accreditations are available offering the following modalities:
- 1 free accreditation to participate and enter and use all competition facilities;
- 1 free accreditation for the Opening Ceremony;
Please note that all other modalities are at the expenses of the extra persons. Upgrade to a “full” Tournament Package (with all modalities mentioned above) is available at a cost. Please contact the organization for more information.
FREE ACCOMMODATION
ACOMMOCATION IN MOSCOW
Free Accommodation at the University Campus
PIUTT offers free accommodation in the University Hotel located on the Financial University Campus on Leningradsky Prospekt 55 (ideally located at 150m from Metro Station “Aeroport” and at 1,5 km from the tennis venue. Double rooms (male/female) with two single beds are shared with other participants.
Alternative Hostels and Hotels
Teams are free to opt for other accommodation modalities at own charges. You can find/book your own accommodation through online portals or booking agencies. Please take note that our Team Guide will only come to your hotel if it is within a comfortable range of the tennis venue and reachable by Public Transport. If unsure, check with the organization.

The city is served by four international airports: Sheremetyevo (SVO), Domodedovo (DME), Vnukovo (VKO) and Zhukovsky (ZIA). The nearest airport to the PIUTT venue is the Sheremetyevo International Airport, located 25 km from the venue. All tourist information is available on discover.moscow.
DRAWING & PHOTO CONTESTS EXPOSITIONS
During the PIUTT, the Financial University will host the prestigious expositions of the Antwerp University and Panathlon Drawing Contest and Photo Contest. Participants, officials and spectators can enter the Photo Contest by posting their pictures on social media, using the hashtag #PCUpic.

REGISTRATION
The PIUTT Tennis 2021 dates have to be confirmed in accordance with the COVID-19 restrictions of the Russian Government. A next update is programmed on 1 June 2021.
Registration Modalities
Registration for the PIUTT 2020 is simple by filling out the registration form below and no entry or participation fees are required. The registration deadline is 2 September 2020 (or when the maximum amount of registrations is reached). Players must represent a specific University or other Institutes of Higher Education.
Participation Guarantee
Your travel itineray tickets to Moscow will be considered as your participation guarantee and will exclude no-shows of players.
Visa Requests
Visa assistance is available upon request on piutt@pcucommittee.com. Please visit the website of the Russian Federal Agency for Tourism if Visa are required and for detailed information on the current procedures.

The PIUTT is a yearly tennis tournament for universities and university colleges worldwide, organized by the University of Antwerp (Belgium) and Dubna State University (Russia) with the endorsement of the PCU Committee. The PIUTT Organization Committee consists of 3 members and controls the organisation and finances of the PIUTT. In addition, the PIUTT Organizing Committee appoints a Tournament Director, responsible for the daily running of the PIUTT organization.

FINANCIAL UNIVERSITY, MOSCOW, HOST
The Federal State-Funded Educational Institution of Higher Education ‘Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation’ (Financial University) is one of the oldest Russian higher education institutions where financial experts, financial law experts, economists, IT experts, mathematicians, sociologists, and political scientists are trained. Sport, Fair Play and international interaction are considered within Financial University as highly important for the educational development of students. Also the universal Panathlon values and the recognition of the association by the International Olympic Committee are considered as complementary with the mission of the Financial University.
