Welcome to the PIUTT Tennis


The PIUTT ensures a free tennis and events program for universities and university colleges worldwide. The main objective is to offer students a platform where tennis is considered as a valuable instrument to develop international interaction and experience, with emphasis on Fair Play and Universal Friendship. The PIUTT is organized from 18 to 20 October 2019 in Moscow (Russian Federation). The 4th edition of the PIUTT welcomes 24 players (16 men and 8 women).



The PIUTT is a yearly tennis tournament for universities and colleges worldwide, organized by the University of Antwerp, Financial University and Dubna State University, initiated and endorsed by the PCU Committee. A PIUTT Organization Committee of 3 members is installed, which controls the organization of the PIUTT and its finances. The Presidency of the PIUTT Organizing Committee is ensured by a representative of the University of Antwerp, Prof. Dr. F. baron Van Loon. The other 2 members are a representative of Dubna State University, Prof. Dr. D. Fursaev, and a representative of the PCU Committee. The PIUTT Organizing Committee appointed a Tournament Director, Ms. Alina Baranova, responsible for the daily running of the PIUTT.

The city is served by four international airports: Sheremetyevo (SVO), Domodedovo (DME), Vnukovo (VKO) and Zhukovsky (ZIA). The nearest airport to the PIUTT venue is the Sheremetyevo International Airport, located in 25 km from the venue.


Over 500 Olympic sports champions lived in the city by 2005. Moscow is home to 63 stadiums (besides eight football and eleven light athletics maneges), of which Luzhniki Stadium is the largest and the 4th biggest in Europe (it hosted the 1998-99 UEFA Cup, 2007-08 UEFA Champions League finals, the 1980 Summer Olympics and the 2018 FIFA World Cup).


Moscow hosts the annual Kremlin Cup, the largest in Russia professional tennis tournament played on indoor hard courts. It is currently part of the WTA and ATP tours.

The XXX International Tennis Tournament “VTB Kremlin Cup” will be held at a new venue – the “Krylatskoe” Ice Palace arena from October 12 till October20, 2019. The PIUTT participants will have an opportunity to visit the Kremlin Cup as spectators during the Moscow stay.


The most titled ice hockey team in the Soviet Union and in the world, HC CSKA Moscow comes from Moscow.

PIUTT 2019 is organized in the CSKA Moscow Tennis Palace, located on Leningradsky Prospekt, 39, building 12a. The Tennis Palace has 2 indoor hard courts. Such well-known Russian tennis players such as Elena Dementieva, Elena Likhovtseva, Nadezhda Petrova, masters of sports and the youth CSKA school of Olympic reserve train here.
