PIUTT@HOME 2021 brought together universities and students from all over the world. In total 89 universities from 43 countries participated in the hybrid program of the PIUTT@HOME 2021, including both virtual events and an on-site event in Antwerp. The program included Virtual Challenges, 3D Expositions, the PCU Post-Covid Initiative, and a demonstration event in Antwerp.

All Challenge Champions receive honouring certificates and invitations to the next edition of the PIUTT Tennis Tournament in October 2022 in Moscow (Russia) with free accommodation, meals and an event program at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

University Sport representatives answered questions of the PCU Initiative to determine a current state of university sport for the upcoming post-Covid-19 times.

All participants have the opportunity to enjoy 3D virtual expositions of the Drawing & Photo Contests and invited to take part in the next edition and win financial prizes.

In addition a local tennis initiative was held at the University of Antwerp to celebrate the 6th edition of PIUTT on venue. All the participants were happy to play tennis together again. We are looking forward to meet all in person in Moscow next year!

November 5, 2021/in PIUTT Tennis, University of Antwerp

At the University of Antwerp a local tennis initiative was held on November 3 to celebrate the 6th edition of PIUTT. Antwerp students played try-outs for their tennis teams to participate later during the year in regional and national championships. Former PIUTT participants Jonathan Mertens and Hanne Ooms  participated in try-outs. The atmosphere was very friendly. All the participants were happy to play tennis together again. The try-outs will also act as a pre-selection for PIUTT 2022. We are all looking forward to the next year PIUTT edition in Moscow.
