25th PCU Games Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 PCU Games was witnessed by a completely filled and enthusiastic aula. The vast crowd was greeted by Gert Christens, Director of the Student Center of the esteemed host institution, AP University of Applied Sciences and Arts Antwerp. Following the rendition of the official student anthem, “Gaudeamus Igitur,” and a brief film showcasing the vibrant city of Antwerp, representatives of the players and referees took their oaths amidst a bustling presentation of the 61 participating teams. The ceremony culminated with the official opening remarks by PCU Committee President Peter Verboven, marking its successful completion.

Tomorrow marks the start of two days filled with student sports, ending in an evening on Friday that includes an Ordinary and Elective PCU Committee General Assembly, followed by the 2024 Closing Ceremony.
