The delegation of the University of Antwerp and the PCU Commiittee attended the Fifth International Financial University Forum “How to Break into the Top Five of the Leading World Economies?” on 27-29 November 2018 in Moscow, Russia. This is the fifth year the International Financial University Forum is held. It is one of the major highbrow events scheduled for this period.
Government officials, ministers, representatives of the business world, researchers and other expert communities take part in the Forum. The participants have an opportunity to discuss the recent changes in the Russian and world economy, structural transformations in the international trade and the social sector development. After the plenary session, the PCU Committee delegation met with Gennady Davydov, the Financial University Sports Club Director, to prepare the PIUTT 2019.
The PCU Committee is honored to inform you about the AURORA Sport Days. This event is a collaboration between AURORA and the PCU Committee. The AURORA Sport Days are organized from Wednesday 24 to Friday 26 April 2019 at the University of Antwerp. During these three days, each AURORA member is free to participate in a program including a workshop for professionals on Wednesday, an AURORA dinner for students and professionals on Thursday evening and the complete sports and event program from Wednesday to Friday of the PCU Games for student teams. The AURORA network is a network of 9 European Universities, founded in 2016, united by their commitment to build a different kind of inclusive university community. They excel in producing internationally relevant research, but not at the expense of the education of their students. They are leaders in academic research, within the top 250 in the world (www.aurora-network.global). The drawing “Victory in my heart” made by Natalya Scunchaya from Ukraine was chosen by the PIUTT Participants as Honorable Commendation. There were also many votes for the drawings “Fair Play Handshake” and “Friendship, Fun and Fair Play”. The last one was presented to the Rector of the Dubna State University as his favorite. At the Closing Ceremony was held a gift draw among the voters.
