PCU International University Tennis Tournament
The PIUTT ensures a free tennis and events program for universities and university colleges worldwide. The main objective is to offer students a platform where tennis is considered as a valuable instrument to develop international interaction and experience, with emphasis on Fair Play and Universal Friendship.
The 2018 PIUTT is organized from 19 to 21 October in Dubna (Moscow Region, Russian Federation).
The 3rd edition of the PIUTT welcomes 16 players (8 men and 8 women).
The PIUTT is a yearly tennis tournament for universities and colleges worldwide, organized by the Antwerp University with the assistance of the Dubna State University and endorsed by the PCU Committee.
A PIUTT Organization Committee of 3 members is installed, which controls the organization of the PIUTT and its finances. The Presidency of the PIUTT Organizing Committee is ensured by a representative of the University of Antwerp, Professor Baron F. Van Loon. The other 2 members are a representative of Dubna State University, Professor D. Fursaev, and a representative of the Committee of Panathlon Clubs of Universities.
His Excellency A.G. Kotchofa is appointed as Honorary Member of the PIUTT Organization Committee.
The PIUTT Organizing Committee appointed a Tournament Director, Ms. Alina Baranova, responsible for the daily running of the PIUTT and the accounts of the PIUTT. The Tournament Director communicates on a regular basis with the PIUTT Organizing Committee and executes the decisions of the PIUTT Organizing Committee.
DUBNA, CITY OF SCIENCE
Dubna is a city in the Moscow Oblast, Russia. It has the prestigious status of Naukograd (city of science), being home to the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research, an international nuclear physics research center and one of the largest scientific foundations in the country. The modern town was developed in the middle of the 20th century and the city status was granted in 1956. The city is 120 meters above sea level, situated on the beautiful banks of the Volga River. Dubna’s sports facilities include two stadiums, a waterski stadium on the Volga River, three swimming pools, tennis courts, and five sports complexes. Since 2004, Dubna is a regular venue for Waterski World Cup stops. In 2011 Dubna hosted the World Waterski Championships.

Train and bus connections from and to Moscow include express trains, suburban trains and bus shuttles which depart from the Moscow Savyolovsky Rail Terminal.
